Learn to Handstand: Strength, Technique, and Psychology
While upon first glance the handstand may seem like a strenuous physical exercise, it's actually a demonstration of someone's precise body control and awareness.
The handstand is just as much a mental focus and mindfulness exercise as it is a physical one.
In this session, I am going to talk about 3 main elements of the handstand and how they can be barriers holding people back from learning the skill.
The three elements are:
Physicality
Psychology
Technique
The goal is to give students a better understand and appreciate of how to approach the skill and what they can learn about themselves in the process.
